At Printed we are proud to be a member of the Woodland Trusts’ Carbon Capture Scheme, offsetting the CO2 emissions of our paper purchases by planting native woodland throughout the UK.

Each month, the CO2 generated in the production and delivery of the paper and board that we purchase from Premier Paper (our major supplier), is calculated and we donate an appropriate amount to the Woodland Trust Charity to plant woodland at one of their accredited woodland creation sites in the UK.

The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, and believe that life is better with trees; they improve the quality of the air that we breathe, provide a natural habitat for an array of UK wildlife, and form nature’s magical playground for children and adults alike. They care for over 1,000 woods which are open year round for the public to enjoy free of charge.

With environmental responsibility becoming increasingly important, this carbon reduction strategy enables us to offer a reduced carbon solution for our customers.

In 2019 our Managing Directors took part in a tree planting day where 13,000 new trees were planted. Amongst the saplings that were planted were maple, oak and silver birch, hawthorn and hazel – all of which are broadleaf trees native the UK.
